Meg Simpson
Farm Consultant
Meg has a background of managing dairy farms in Canterbury. Originally brought up on a Southland Sheep and Beef farm she went to the "dark side" when she realised the dairy farming neighbour paid better than her father when she was home from boarding school for the holidays.
A Lincoln University Agricultural Science graduate, she is passionate about using her farming background to make the data and research “real world” relevant and applicable at the grass-roots level, with a particular interest in using farm data analysis and technology to maximise system productivity and profitability.
In her spare time she loves to cook, is doing a few reno projects around the house, and has a big vege garden that needs more attention than it usually gets.
